Herdsires

This is my current herdsire; he is 3/4 Peruvian, 3/8 Accoyo, and 3/8 Alianza. He has very dense, soft, fine fleece with consistently zippery crimp. He has excellent conformation and wonderful coverage. Paladin's micron count is 21. He has one cria so far, and she is adorable! Paladin's ARI number is 1328950.

UPDATE!!!!!!! Paladin won fourth place in halter at the 2009 National Champions Alpaca Show, in a class of 8 with all the alpacas 2 or more years younger than him! He placed above Pakalolo from Heatherbrook Farms, whose breedings are selling for $2500; and also above a 3/4 Accoyo male from TapAcres. :) Paladin also won 5th place in Walking Fleece.

This is Paladin's first cria

New Junior Herdsire!!!

I recently aquired half ownership of a full peruvian beige young male. He has an adorable, typey head, and a brown spot on his neck. He also has light fawn on his tail. Out of a beige dam and a brown sire, this guy has lots of potential. Photos coming soon.

Females

I have two females so far, Eris and Miss D.

This is Eris. She is a proven mom, but due to an infection she is now a non-breeder. Eris is 3/4 Peruvian; and 1/4 Accoyo and 1/2 Alianza. Her fleece is very fine and dense, with a micron of 21.4. She won three ribbons at various shows; a 1st, a 2nd, and a 3rd. UPDATE!!!! Eris' fleece won 1st place at the 2009 National Champions Alpaca Show! :) Eris is for sale.

This is Miss D. She is full Peruvian, and is excpecting her first cria in the fall of 2011. Her fleece is very soft and crimpy, which isn't very surprising since she is out of two suris. She has a pretty Peruvian head and good coverage.

New Female!

I just acquired a new female, her name is Misty Rose. She is a proven mother, with four crias already on the ground. She is bred to a full Peruvian, full Accoyo herdsire, and is due in the fall of 2011. Misty is a beautiful medium rose grey color with full peruvian heritage.

Crias

Baby alpacas and llamas are called cria. I currently do not have any, but I can still show off some! These are some from Thunder Bolt Farm.
